Burda Style For people who sew
Description
It seems unbelievable, but I won me an award! This is the dress that I entered into this years Tessuti Awards which fills my belly with all sorts of warm and fuzzies.
This years competition was Linen and Lace where everything old is new again. The brief was simple, fresh and pretty and follows one of the trend forecasts for next Spring/Summer. Design a dress in any length using a combination of Linen and Lace in Neutrals, Whites or a combination of both tones together.
Checking out the trend forecasts for Spring/Summer I got my mind set on pleats, and decided to go a bit crazy with it and make it a feature.
It was ridiculously easy to get inspired by the Tessuti awards fabrics and I very quickly fell in love the break-your-heart-beautiful corded bianca griege which I featured in a low back.
I am still pinching myself over the win, and so incredibly grateful to Tessuti Fabrics.
