I made McCall’s 4769 using a peach skin Tencel- part of my adventures in learning about different fabrics. Pretty much like rayon. I’m happy with the finished product but found the pattern lacking. Not an easy pattern to make, even though it claims to be easy.

This is one of my favorite shirt dresses I’ve seen on Burda! I might try it myself. Thanks for the inspiration.

I have to make a shirtdress. It’s so smart! And the color fits you very well.
What is tencel ? Is it a synthetic ? I’m not sure it exists in france….

Tencel is actually a brand name for lyocell. Its made from wood fibers so it is a natural fiber. It’s very much like rayon. And thanks!

Oh I do love the contrasting buttons in the same color family! That’s a fabulous little detail that gives the dress interest but not craziness. It looks superb on you! Love the blue. Great job!
