Pattern:McCall’s 5858 (seems they are discontinuing it)
Alterations:I found my last pair to be a little too baggy in the crotch and bum so i altered the pattern so that the crotch was higher and took out some excess bulk from the bum area.
I’m really pleased with how these turned out and am happy with the alterations i made. I think i’ll try the shorter version for summer in a lightweight fabric such as a crepe de chine.
Fabric:Main-‘Tell Tale’ Lyocell/linen
Waistband and pocket lining-‘Hokko Night Bloom’
both from Tessuti Fabrics
