A bikini was something that never occurred to me as a sewing project, so I put on my 52 Weeks of Sewing list because I thought it would be a good experience. And it was!
For better or worse, I drafted it myself, inspired by a Diane Von Furstenberg number I found at Saks Fifth Avenue.
The material I had bought as a remnant at Joann’s years ago because I just couldn’t resist the color. It’s lined with thinner black swim knit (also found in my stash, don’t know why it was there), to make it a little less indecent. Regardless, this is the most naked I’ve ever been on the internet :-)
