A few months ago a good friend of mine dropped me a facebook message asking if I’d be able to make a labcoat for his girlfriend’s teddy bear as a birthday present. . . I thought, “yea, why not! there must be loads of tutorials on the Internet for stuff like that…” … well guess what… there isn’t :-/ …
Well there is now!! it’s over on my blog…
old duvet cover... of course!!

I want to kiss you lol… A lady at my work asked me to make a bear labcoat months ago because it’s our company mascot, and I thought the same thing- someone has to have a pattern! No. And I had no idea where to start in drafting for a teddy. So thanks- it’s so cute!!

yeyy! haha I feel fo you! there was a fair amount of guesswork involved here, but once I get the pattern down it didnt take much time to put together. I had the added frustration that the bear I was designing for is 300 miles away, and my friend had to periodically ‘steal’ it for me to take measurements hahah… but as you can see it seems to fit fine…

I saw this in my news feed and it made my morning. Too cute! I’ll have to upload a photo of my hubby’s teddy that I dressed a few years ago…

:-) It was a new challenge for me to design for a bear haha, but you’re right, it turned out so cute! I’m very pleased with it .
