Description

I made this adorable teddy bear using some leftover fabric from a diaper bag set I made a few months ago. I did use a pattern for this. I made one for my youngest child about 10 years ago, too…and she still has it among her most valuable treasures, with a LOT of wear ~ happy to say! :0) I hand stitched the face for safety for little ones, so the eyes can’t be ripped off. :0)

cotton or cotton blend, pillow stuffing

This is adorable! The last teddy I made was for my godson and I used corduroy with a printed cotton drill for the paw pads and inside the ears- it worked well too. That was using leftovers from another project as well. Teddys are great for that!

Thanks! Yes, teddy’s are fun to make…I think I love them all the more since my youngest has loved teddy bears and winnie the pooh since she was a baby, and she is almost a teen! :0) I’’ have to try mixing fabrics like you did, that sounds fun!

just be sure to keep it to similar weight fabrics and you can’t go wrong. Have fun :-)
