this is the first thing ive ever sewn EVER!
I made the pattern myself and im happy with the results. i made this corset for my textiles project at school. diving in the deep end a bit, considering i didnt even know how to turn on a sewing machine.

Wow… First project ever?? I’m very impressed. I made a plain corset (just out of canvas) once, and I still want to make a really pretty one, but other things always get in the way. Yours looks absolutely great!

I did a very similar thing for my first sewing class at college – what is it with teachers having novices make corsets, lol?? Yours came out fabulous! I haven’t posted pictures of mine, but it’s exactly the opposite: all white!!
