I make this dress out of 100% cotton…I started with a pajama pattern, but tweeked it by removing the sleeves and the button placket – replacing the sleeves with dainty ruffles and the button placket with loops.
As you can see by the photo, sometimes I add an extra layer for fun…and also to work as a slip.
I call it the Team Spirit Dress because it’s really fun to make and wear in your favorite team’s colors….Co Cowboys!
It looks darling in a print, but I mostly make it in solid colors. Almost always using 100% cotton, but I’ve also used blends and wool.
