For Austin Fashion week the producers drew names out of a hat and made teams to create Fashion photography for the Kick Off Event. I found a bolt of poly shantung for $1.95 a yard in this seasons favorite color teal. I’ve had the elytra, or beetle wings, for 3 years now and knew this was the perfect dress for them to be used on. The bias tape is made from the reverse of the shantung.
Team Elytra . You can vote for the image and each of us individually.

Thanks, the model lives 3 hours away and we didn’t event get to do a fitting. I got her measurements at the model call and luckily they were accurate. I was worried the hips would be to small but they were actually about 1/2 inch to big on each side so I had to tack them down.
