I made this skirt yesterday and today from an old burdastyle pattern that was free online. I have a really high waist naturally, so I feel like I look funny with high waisted things. I’m not sure if this changed my mind or not…. because my waist is so high, I don’t flare out below my waist, so I had to straighten out the top of the skirt to stay narrow longer.
Overall, I think it looks like a good skirt for a professional setting, and I’m greatly lacking in “business casual” clothing. If I make it again, however, I think I’ll widen the waistband and maybe add a bow.
Sorry for the random orb in the second picture!
