I made this dress with my mom for my senior homecoming nearly two years ago. When I tried on the lining it fit, but once we got the zipper in and used up the seam allowances, I couldn’t fit my chest in the dress! So we improvised and made little straps out of tulle to go up the back of the dress. I actually think it’s nicer that way. Unfortunately the pictures aren’t the greatest, but the dress was wonderful! I can’t wear it anymore, though, because we sewed the back straps on right before the dance and I had to be cut out of it later. Maybe I’ll fix it up sometime.

Thank you both! I know the pictures are quite blurry, but unfortunately they’re the best I could find!

This dress is fabulous. You look very dashy in it. The improvisation looks fine, maybe you could add some buttons to avoid cutting the straps every time you wear the dress. I like your figure!
