I’ve been working on this dress for quite some time. I got the fabric a while ago on sale at JoAnns and didn’t know what to use it for but I knew that it had to be mine. I love the vintage look of the tea roses. A few weeks later I was browsing for patterns when I found the Simplicity 2444 pattern. It’s a really pretty pattern and I was pleased to see that it’s relatively easy to follow! I was nervous at first to attempt to sew pockets but following to instructions I had no trouble! I ended up wearing this dress to my highschool’s Spring Fling dance. I went with two of my good friends and had a great night. I am always so grateful that I have amazing friends who like it that I sew my own clothes! Plus a huge thank you to MacKenzie for curling my hair and being my best friend in the world.
