So this is my tea dress, inspired by IchiGoGirl Tea Top[I didn’t use the pattern]. DO you remember my buble dress ? It was boring for me and quite casual and normal…so I modified the upper part into this:) Now I’m delighted with the result, and everyone likes it! It’s not boring anymore :) Hope you like it!
I brightened the last pics just to show the details
navy cotton, white ribon, 3 buttons, elastic band

That’s a very cute re-fashion of the old project (which I like too, but you are right – this is much better!). The fit on you is excellent and the details are fun!

It looks really nice:) Have you used something like underwires or silicon tape? I’m asking because I have problems with tube dresses and they stability and looking for ideas;)

The top is very tight-fitting, and moreover I added elastic band along the edge [underneath the white ribbon] I think that with the elastic band all stays in a place, and it’s easy to do:) Try it:)
I think that with underwires it wouldn’t be very comfy, and silicon tape doesn’t work out

This dress is fabulous. It’s very flattering. I like how the details make it more interesting than just a LBD.
