I made this tea dress last week from an old sheet i bought for €2. The bodice was drafted from an ancient book on pattern drafting & the skirt is a simple gathered or dirndl skirt. There is a lapped side zipper and a very long sash too. The back looks a little loose in the photo, but this is only because the dress is a size 22 & my mannequin is a size 14
vintage cotton for the front, white polycotton for the front & a 22" zipper
