This pattern was a lot of fun to make but I did run into some confusion when it came to the instructions. I couldn’t find where they listed what size elastic or bias tape we needed. Also, I found the instructions for the elastic casing confusing and ended up making up my own instructions (I think this happened because my elastic was 3/8" instead of 1/4"?). The inside of the garment is a little ugly on the inside because of this.
I used cotton, however I would suggest using something that is less stiff like silk. Cotton is nice if you have a bit of a stomach you would like to hide, however if you have larger hips and a flat stomach, using such a stiff material might make you look a bit large.
