Description

here is my dress loosely based on the tara pattern. i used elastic to make it more formfitting and then sewed ribbon over some of it. i continued the line of the top until it was floorlength. i also added inseam pockets. i’m really happy with it, it came out pretty much exactly how it was in my head. except of maybe it looks fancier than i imagined, but i think i can still wear it on an everyday basis.

Material Notes

fabric by oilily bought during my pilgrimage to oilily in alkmaar, netherlands. ribbon from joann's.

I am late finding this great dress. I have been looking for a pattern to make a Maxi dress from with fabric that has a large border at the hem. This looks like it will be ideal. Great insperation!

Hey this is very beautiful! Pleasantly surprising shift from the red colour palette you have been using so far. It suits you a lot, and emphasies your femininity
