I love this fabric, it has soldiers and horses. The pattern is great and I loved putting in the button loops. The front buttons are mismatched, I picked them up in my stash of random buttons. I should have lengthened the body because the waist is a little high. The belt is from Cassie Stephens.

This came out lovely! Do you have any favorite fabric shops in the Boston/Cambridge area? I just went on a fabric shopping trip this weekend and there were so many that are now closed. We went to Winmill Fabrics in Chinatown and I liked that, but any suggestions would be great.

Winmill is my favorite by far. There’s also Sew Low Discount Fabrics in Cambridge, I found nice stuff there but it’s a random mess… Sewfisticated in Cambridge is the last one I know, I never found anything exciting apart from silk, and the store ladies are mean!
I wish there were more fabric stores around here!

Thanks, it’s a wonderful skirt from Anthropologie that I intend to copy some day…
