This project can be used in many ways, with different fabrics to give it a totally different look. Here I’ve used this lovely Missoni fabric and put it with a thin belt. You could also use the fabric from an old scarf, if it was wide enough. It also looks good made in stretchy lace, still using the ribbing to finish off.
Copy and paste this link for step by step instructions (sorry but some of the pictures are poor quality)

I made one without the belt for my sister’s boyfriend, he loved it!
I used Missoni, knitted Cotton fabric with a scalloped edge along the selvage.
You could use an old scarf if wide enough, good if fabric has a bit of stretch in it (otherwise allow extra)

Lovely top. Where do you buy Missoni knit fabric?? My daughter is a Missoni fan but it is so expensive to buy in Australia, so to be able to buy the fabric would be wonderful.
