I made this little coat last year, in spring. This afternoon at the beach, I had a lot of fun finally taking pictures of it!
It’s based on the burda pattern, but shorter, and I replaced the collar with a hood.
My inspiration was this coat : italian little red riding hood
I never stitched the lining properly… But I wear it anyway!
It was my first coat, and I am pleased with it. Although it’s not the most practical (does not close entirely, 3/4 sleeves, a bit short…), I think it is cute!
wool, polyester lining, thread, buttons

I have to say that I love this jacket. It’s like sunshine on a gloomy day. It’s seems fun and you look like you are having a ball in it. I guess I love it mostly because of the sense of fun and adventure your pictures evoke while you are wearing it.
