I made this corset and pants couple of months ago as part of my collection for The Boston Fashion Week. It`s a four layers corset with a bra cup (fashion fabric, horsehair interfacing, cotton twill and lining). I wanted it to be firm and really structured. Instead of lacing a put a exposed zipper on the back on the same color on the fabric. I made bias tape from the same material to finish the bottom edges of the corset with the hong kong biding seam finish. I added the neck piece embroidered with sequins last by hand stitching it to the corset making it a halter. The skinny pants have a zipper on the side and were made on the same material as the corset. I draped the pattern for the corset on the dress form, then I had to fit it to the statuesque model on the picture. Isn`t she beautiful?
horsehair interfacing, cotton twill, satin lining, bra padding, boning, fashion fabric (can`t remember what it is)…
