I loved Arsonista’s Vivienne Jumper pattern so wanted to try out another one of her projects. This pattern is easy to follow and it sews up quickly. My only issue with the design is the boat neck; it’s pretty big on my 16-month-old, and either slides off her shoulder or droops in the front. If I make it again, I will redraw the neck line and try for a more scoop-like neck.
I used an old jersey skirt I lived in while pregnant, plus a scrap from a t-shirt for the triangle. This is a great project for using up old Tees.

Thanks for making my pattern. Lucy is a great model. The neck is loose on my older kid, too. (Their heads are so big…)

I love this pattern! I wish there was an adult-sized version. As for Lucy’s dress, I undid the neck and put some elastic into it, so now it fits her nicely everywhere. I like the look of the boatneck better…but the elastic makes it more wearable for my daughter, who’s pretty anti-clothing anyway.
