made the double-breasted variation of the talea coat. what a nightmare! this coat was really a pain to make, i have no idea how the collar is supposed to look or how it is supposed to be worn, the sleeves were a disaster, the back was very ill-fitting, my buttons are crooked. but i spent so much time making it i am still going to wear it, even if it is ugly. also, this picture still has the chalk on it. i haven washed it since then.
some kind of sporty polyester.

Yeah, I am having problems as well, for the variation they mention to cut the cf x4, is that correct? if so I feel their yardage is a little off. did you make a lining as well, i would like your help on this please. yours doesnt look too bad, other than the buttons id say you did a swell job despite the terrible directions.

Sounds like you had that same problems I’m having with my current project, a Simplicity trench-coat. I started it 2 weeks ago and was hoping to have it done by this weekend but that isn’t going to happen.
