I made this during my winter break when I was home from college. The pattern was not that easy to read so I basically just cut out the pieces and figured out how to assemble it myself. I love how it turned out and have got a tonnn of compliments on it (most people think I got it for a department store like j.crew!)
italian wool (got at britex fabrics in San Francisco in the salvage area for a bargain), silk print (got at mood fabric in New York), gold buttons (got a train museum in my hometown, vintage train conductor buttons)

What a delicious looking coat! A fine coat in classic red is a sure thing, and you are to be congratulated on your workmanship. I can absolutely understand how people thought you purchased it from a nice shop. And dropping names like Italian Wool and Silk from Mood. . . I’m jealous!
