Burda Style For people who sew
Description
High waisted skirt with pockets and contrasting gathered band/belt. I made a basic strapless top in a sheer white cotton (lining included) with elastic so I didn’t need a zipper.
Material Notes
Crushed satin, satin and a cotton? I pick my material up from a local shop and half the time I don't know what I'm buying! But it's cheap and beautiful!

I like the waist band and the pockets..it really looks like a dress. i like the contrasting textures of the different fabrics

This is so creative! Beautiful, and if it was in stores, I would buy it. I’m not a huge fan of the pockets, but it does make it fun.
