Description

When I first saw this piece of fabric in a quirky little shop I could have sworn I’d seen it in one of the S/S 11 shows. Alas, I couldn’t find it in any of my magazines when I got home, so I just took it as love at first sight.

I think this fabric is actually an Indian sari as it was 4.5 metres long and covered in little embroidered sequins, but I think it looks more African. Either way, I love it!

Material Notes

Sari, cotton for belt

I would think the fabric was very pretty and then I would shy away because I would not know what to do with it. What you have done is very relaxed and even romantic.

Thanks so much! I thought that the print was so busy on this fabric that it called for a simple cut of dress.
