Description

Take Manhattan from the Twinkle Sews book in size 0. I actually did it again in an african print for a friend and I added 2" on the back center seam (4" in total) and redrafted the collar (I can’t explain myself why it does not fit) because my first version is a bit tight in the underarm area.

On the construction side, I did french seams everywhere as I did not line it except for the collar/neckline seam on which I sewed bias tape.

Material Notes

Very soft cotton (loooove it) !

I loved making this pattern. I wear it all the time. Check it out on my blog!

I have this book but haven’t used it to make anything yet. This is one of my favorites and I wondered if an unlined version would work out. Yours looks great!

That’s cool – I love the cowl neck take on what would otherwise be a hoodie, and fabric has a really nice drape, for a woven cotton too!
