Burda Style For people who sew
Description
for tailoring class, been working on this jacket with extra things from what we have learned such as pad stitching, fell stitch, catch stitch and others for a hand tailored to fit us. 100% wool, hymo, rayon lining, and cotton twill tape, as well as silk thread for all stitching as well.
Material Notes
that hymo was so scratchy and smelled like rotton wet tuna when steamed and iron initially. though it adds a soft stiff but still meldable part against the wool.
update: after adding the rayon lining, i can still feel the hymo poking through that layer, eww…
