i took the fabric of a lace table cloth I found at the thrift store. I was using a similar idea as one i’ve used many times before. the dress is empire waist, I have 15 or so buttons going down the back. the under-layer is a dark brown satin, something i originally planed on making its own dress. but when it wasn’t working out i decided to try something else.
