this project was just an exercise to become a better friend with my lockmachine. So I used a very cheap fabric from the market for 1 euro/meter. Long live polyester :-) I am happy with the fitting and this time the neckline came out very good. Now I appreciate my lockmachine much more. I made the pattern with the Müller&Sohn system.

Looks great!!!
But also here, lenght is missing in the fronts… it is because of your very male and prominent chest… same issue on my!
But great workmanship!
edit: Thank you for putting some photo of the sleevehead! :)

Neckline looks great!
Did you use a twin needle for the hem? I found the best way to do the hem if you dont have a coverstitch machine is to either. 1. Do a medium zig zag stitch, it doesn’t pucker up the fabric and lookg great from a small distance. 2. Or get some iron on stabilizer and use it both back and front when you do a twin stitch. 3. Or Serge the egde and thenm use a blind hem with your sewing machine. The hem is almost invisble then.

thank you for the hints. Yes I used a twin needle for the hem, although I have a coverstitch on my lockmachine.

Hallo Martin!

Viel Erfolg!

Wow, such a great fit and the neckline looks great. Very good fitting, and that’s such a hard thing to do. Is this from a bought pattern or did you make it yourself?

Thank you Joost, the pattern is selfmade. I redrawn it for a better fitting and this is the result. The neckline wasn’t as scaring as I thought. Now I will do T-shirts more often. But jackets and coats will always be my favourite! I like the challange.
