Description

Bought two meters of this fabric for €1!!! I knew it will be a delight to work with even though it was a sale item apparently…don’t exactly know why as it is just a brilliant print in my opinion but oh well.

I used the “Sonja” pattern which you can download here for free. I’ve looked through other member’s final versions on Sonja and have seen a lot of complaints about its fit. Well I must say for me it worked just fine, one of the nicest patterns I’ve used to date. You will of course need to adjust a bit but it is a fitted dress! Anyway, for me it was a delight to work with and would highly recommend!

Used size 6 and 1 cm seam-allowance. I’m a UK 8 and according to this pattern it is a 6 so read the sizing guide carefully and you will have no problems afterwards!

I designed my own peplum as an addition to the original version…can’t wait to wear it I must say :)

This looks really nice and I live that you kept the perfect symmetry of the print! I can’t believe it was so cheap :)) it looks much much more expensive ! Xx

I was worried about the symmetry but I managed to keep it accurate enough. Yes, was such a bargain I can’t believe how lucky I was :)!
