I got this fabric as a present and since it has a big stain across the whole length I decided to try out a basic project. It’s great to work with silk and since the fabric was ruined I wasn’t afraid of wasting expensive stuff.
The pattern is from Burda mag 7/2011, I didn’t like the asymmetric shoulder so I mirrowed one side and added some length and a broader seam at the bottom. The pattern is quickly finished, airy and a cool basic piece which i will sew again with other fabrics.
Silk, cotton jersey
