Description

This is a full swishy skirt that also doubles as a dress. It is a pattern free pattern, and there is a tutorial on my blog for it at http://www.sew-creative-girl.blogspot.com. It is made from a two way stretch knit, and thick elastic. This is probably the easiest dress/skirt you will ever make. You will love how fun it is to wear a swishy dress.

Material Notes

Two way stretch knit, (I used something synthetic, that had a nice hand) Thick elastic

Lovely colour. Nice dress. I purchased some bright yellow fabric two weeks ago hoping to make something with it. Wow! Did any bee’s or wasps chase you?

What sort of fabric was the yellow you bought? And what will you make? It is a nice cheerful colour. Haha, no bees chased me, believe it or not, they go for you if you are in blue. I found this out because I was on holiday and took all blue things to coordinate, and bees kept chasing me, and my friend is a park ranger and told me that is why.

Sorry i marked ur comment as inappropriate accidently..ghosh my morning brain..sorry i thought i could reply back to you. How do u uncheck it. The yellow fabric is more to make a top. Maybe a tunic. x

oh I see what you mean, it is really easy to mark something as inappropriate. Don’ t worry. Ooh tunics are fun, to wear with tights or slim fir pants? good luck with your project :)

Gorgeous – and you look great in it! I love the color… I look terrible in yellow, so of course I love it and am totally jealous of people who wear it well! :)

Thankyou for the kind comment. I know what you mean about it being hard to look good in yellow, I had my colours done and am actually a summer, so this is not my yellow either, I am supposed to wear a cool lemon colour. I think people can wear any colour they like, just put something else by your face that suits you, because that’s where the wrong colour will make you look sick.
