I found an awesome sweater tee a few months ago at a local thrift store. Unfortunately the sweater was way too big, kind of bat-wing-ish, and really didn’t look good on me as a sweater. I loved the rainbow brocade pattern, though, so I bought it anyways. When I got home I stood in front of a mirror holding it up in different ways. I flipped it upside down and realized that it would make a great skirt, and that it would be a very easy upcycle. I used my favorite pencil skirt for a basic shape.
