Description

I’ve been very very bad. I bought new fabric…a lot of it. At the beginning of the summer I decided I would buy no new fabric until my extensive stash had been depleted. To be fair, I did use some of it! I just have a little weakness for fabric sales. I love fall colours and really wanted this mustard corduroy when I saw it. So I bought it (and about 12 meters of other fabrics shame). Did I mention there was a sale? Anyway, I drafted the 3/4 skirt, made it high-waisted with a wide waistband and there you have it. Now I just need to make myself a top to go with it!

    Love this skirt! It turned out fabulous! The colour and texture are just divine! The terrible malady that you speak of is something probably shared by so many of us! My sewing room might as well be called a “walk-in-wardrobe” for storing fabric!

    Oh oh oh I know this feeling! And I’m happy to know I’m not the only one to have a huge stash and still buy tons of new fabrics everytime I go to the fabric shop!!! Anyway, I love your skirt, you are right, the fabric is fantastic!
