This week I needed a break from studying and finished the dress the morning of my birthday.
The cold wind in my face when I was riding my bike looking for that field was just perfect for getting my head empty for a while.
And I could hear some rabbits eating!
Material Notes
- the flowerish fabric is from ebay - a blend, I think - the purple parts are simply cotton - a looong zipper (it goes all the way down - didn't have a shorter one) - an old bedsheet and the typical lining fabric for the inside

Thanks! Yes, a bit, I could just put the camera on the automatic mode to get the pictures taken as quickly as possible, but I had a warm coat and some of thoses handwarmers with me-you can bend them and they get warm. So it was more fun than pain : )

The dress is very cute! You can shorten an invisible zipper by making new “stop” (a zigzag with a small stitch length across the zipper a few times does this very nicely) and cutting of the rest.

I might do that next time, thank you. Here the long zipper wasn’t too bad because it doesn’t stop somewhere where it would stick out (like the middle of my bum). My mum told me i could wear it as an apron, too, because I can almost completely open the back : D
