Description
these are dresses from burda 4/2004 , number 102. they’re not excatly vintage but i think they’ve a vintage feel to them. the spotty flowery one is reversable !! i’m going to line the other two rather than flip one inside the other as i think they’re nice and different enough to stand alone.. they’re very figure flattering with the side panals and they look so different to the burda version. i’m mulling over adding a ruffle to one of them.
Material Notes
stretch jersey and cotton based jersey
Difficulty

Thank you for the elaborated answer! I wanted to reply and pressed the little thing that apparently says your comment was inappropriate.. Sorry.. lol. It’s inappropriate how good it is :) This is a great idea,I will definitely try it myself. Thank you!

Oh..I LOVE this!! I would not look at that pattern if not for your great interpretation.. And here I though the 90’s – beginning of 2000 burdas are useless. Thank you! Now how did you make it reversible..? I am going to crack my head about it all day..

Hi,thanks for your lovely comment. i bought a load of 80/s90/s burda mags of ebay so i.ve been having a good look through then.i always go to the line drawing as a lot of the time burdas fabric choice would put you of lol. i.ve made one for my friend with sleeves that i.ll post.its animal print one side and aztec the other but it works.what i do to reverse a dress is first i omit the facings.i make two identcal dresses and attach them at the neck so the insides are to.gether.i press the neck seam and then i put a little wonderweb along it. and press again. then i stich both armholes seperately and then i bind them to.gether.the weight of each keeps them in place when wearing .i think lining a dress makes it hang better anyway so i normally do this. hope this helps you xx
