Description

I had the idea for this t-shirt from a project I’ve seen on Burda, using the same concept but in orange and cream colors. I needed to recycle a few old t-shirts that I was not wearing anymore, and I made it quite quickly. The sleeves were not falling the right way so I rolled them and sewed a botton on both of them.
The result is not perfect but I imediately wanted to wear it, which is usually a good sign that the result in not too bad.

This is mostly improvisation, quickly said, I did not alter much the white t-shirt which already had very short sleeves at the beginning. In the blue t-shirt I cut out 2 rectangulars, that I assembled into tubes and then sewed directly onto the white t-shirt short sleeves. Then I cut out 2 big trangulars in the blue t-shirt, pinned them to the white t-shirt in order to cut out the corresponding triangles in the white t-shirt, leaving a 1 cm margin in order to sew the blue triangles on the white t-shirt without having any appearant couture left… Ok, I’m not very good at explaining this, next time I will take pictures of each step!
