A capri pants made 3 weeks ago, but not weared : bad weather !!! Based on a Burda drawing N°8119 (quite old now!) Quite slim fit, low waisted, and first time for me : the zip. Until now, all my pants got the zip on the sides… but after all not so complicated if you follow carefully the instructions, and first of all if you take your time it is very easy !
I chose a light mauve – grey cotton/elastane, added a black piping on the belt as well as on the 2 back pockets that i also decorate with some different black lace.
For the hem, i did it “free style”, by adding a fake piping (black bias folded) + a mauve cotton rubber with 2 folded-over portions.
Belt lined in a plain-color cotton and finished with a bias. Only problem : little bit too large on the waist, so i added 5 belt loops. Now i need to find appropriate belt !!
Twists on feminine classics, like a bold patterned shift dress and pants with a racing stripe.
