Description

Francesca Variation #BS-020. I went with a size 54 bust and waist but the hips were let out a considerable amount to get a nice amount of flare to the hem. I’m not sure what size the hips ended up.

I chose to use cotton voile, it’s not as drapey as I’d like but it should be nice and cool for the upcoming Aussie summer. This was not a fast pattern to put together but it wasn’t overly difficult and the end result is super cute. I’m hoping to make a couple more- one in a solid colour combination and one in a more subtle print.

There’s more about the fitting process on my blog for anyone who is interested. :)

I looked at your blog and appreciate the effort you made through the fitting process and the voiles— it paid off in a great fit and a very nice blouse. Congrats on seeing it through.
