Some sweatpants I made my sister “for Christmas” (because she really wanted something homemade and I really wanted to make her something)! I just sent them off to her today, so I hope she likes them!
I worked off of a regular pants pattern for sizing (just to cut the legs), but otherwise made it up as I went. I used flat felled seams on both outer leg seams, as well as the middle seam! I love them :) They are my new favorite! I also used a twin needle for the hemming. There is a thick elastic band inside the waistband as well as the drawstring which you see.
Sorry- pants really don’t work well on dressforms, and they don’t fit me so well :) I will post all of this on my blog tomorrow and then put the link up here.
sweatshirt fleece from Joann's, elastic (1 1/2"), twill tape for drawstring
my sister- she picked out the fabric- it is very comfy :) I’m trying to figure out what to do with the little I have left :)
