Description

A simple and quick A line skirt using ikea Susanna fabric

McCalls 6290 – a great beginners pattern – I did not include the pocket detail as the bold graphic print was enough to make it interesting.

I have been helping my very talented partner at his first solo art exhibition for the past two weeks, and am posing amongst his fantastic work. more of his work here

    I love a good ikea fabric skirt! :) Perfect name for this project too, the print makes me think of Mondrian

      Thanks! – I have a fondness for bold geometric prints and have salivated over those 60’s Mondrian shift dresses many times – on my list to make. :-)
