I was despairing to find nice and cheap fabric since I am in Galway – small irish city with only one poshy fabric store!
So my boyfriend proposed to pick a material in my favourite shop back in France, and bring it to me…. I DIDN’T EXPECT THAT!
I was so surprised and delighted with that fabric, as I am totally obsessed with polkadots, they are so cute!
This is how it came out.
I took different inspirations to design it : the general idea comes from the “Minnie dress” , and I adapted it according to my shape, using the afternoon tea top for a better fit. I didn’t have a zipper, so I decided to tie it, and I wanted to try the “petal” hem, because it’s cute…
And now I just have to wait for summer!
PPS: I have to say that it’s thanks to this website that I really pay attention to details and I am so happy with the results! So… Thanks Burdastyle ;)
