Burda Style For people who sew
Description
I was asked by a friend to make her an outfit for an indian wedding out of a Sari that she’s had for years. She’s a rather large lady and wasn’t prepared to wear the Sari in a traditional way. So I drafted a very simple pattern and the end result looked fantastic. She can wear it with the skirt or a pair of black pants which would make the gold detail pop out even more. She was very happy with the end result and got heaps of compliments at the wedding.
