I made the mermaid tail from scratch; pink glittery material filled with quilters batting, strips of shimmering seafoam mesh and layered “scales”, store bought fish applique. I found that sweet knitted bonnet on ebay and handmade a bedazzley starfish applique. The shirt is from the Gymboree mermaid line and I added some sequin seashell appliques :)
I’ll have to post some pics on here later of my daughter wearing it on her Birthday this weekend!!!
