    We are clearly smarter! I think there are all kinds of crazy bugs at this festival (it’s in the mountains). but it does get pretty hot too, so I think it is the best idea!

    Thank you! I ummed-and-ahhed over it for a while too, but it turned out a lot better than I could ever have hoped! It’s lovely and airy which is great in this very humid country! You should definitely make it!

  this is lovely and nicer than the burda one i think. most of the time i find burdas instructions hard to understand so i just figure it out myself. it helped that my friend started me of with polish burdas so i had to just look and so sew lol. xx

    Thank you, Mary! You are really very kind, but there are many mistakes, I think! Totally agree about the instructions, but I had thought it was just the way my brain worked, so it’s nice to know I’m not alone! Burda in Polish sounds even more scary – how clever you must be!

    I.ve made many mistakes as well. i once sewed everything back to front and made a dress that quasimodo would.ve worn lol.i think you learn as you go along and improve. i just love sewing x

    what i love about making my own clothes apart from the compliments lol is the fit. i.m tall with broad shoulders but narrow hips so buying dresses usually meant altering them anyway.i.d look at clothes and think hummmm i could do this so much better!!the fact that women ask me where i bought my dress just makes my day.i look forward to seeing your next project xx
