My first top, based on the Port Elizabeth pattern. I added a strap of snapbuttons (can you say that?) in the front and facing along the neckline so that I can keep a couple of buttons open and still not show the wrong side of the fabric.
It is pretty short and looks really sweet with a waist high skirt or jeans.
I love this pattern and will definately use it again!

Hörru snapbuttons är ju en kalasbra idé! Måste kolla om det finns på min tygaffär här i byn. Jag är kär i den här blusen. Jag ser framför mig hur du vandrar sävligt på en sommaräng med den. Sävligt. Nästan i slow motion. :)

Sjukt bra idé. Fick däremot leta i en evighet, hittade tillslut i en sån där liten affär i city som bara säljer band och snören och som förmodligen legat där i hundra år och lever endast på att ingen annan skulle våga öppna något så smalt. Säg till om du inte får tag i så kan jag skicka till dig, det finns svart och vitt.

Oh I love this! Would make a rather fabulous jacket too! Lovely fabric usage and what a clever idea for the snap tape! I’ve always wanted to use that and have never really found a use. Lovely work!

Yes, a jacket would be nice! I’m still just a beginner at sewing garment so eventually maybe I’ll be able to get a jacket together too!
