Bury St. Edmunds...
My friend, who owns a cake-decorating business, got married recently. As a wedding gift, I decided to take the backdrop pattern to her blog (www.cakesbymisti.co.uk), have it printed as a fabric (www.spoonflower.com) and make a 50s style apron which she could wear to caking events.
I used some scraps of brown fabric, left over from a skirt, to create the trim. This was an incredibly easy project and definitely one I would recommend to a beginner.
