I made this dress by combining two different patterns: the top is a shirt pattern from Simplicity, and the skirt is a simple square skirt that I drafted myself. I was inspired by this beautiful orange chiffon fabric, and I wanted to make something with a lot of draping to show off the hues and sheen of the textile. For more details about how I put it together check out my blog! http://anelisemadeit.blogspot.com/2014/06/sunset-dress.html
Update: I posted a tutorial to my blog about how to make a square skirt exactly to your waist and length specifications! Check it out! http://anelisemadeit.blogspot.com/2014/06/diy-customized-square-skirt-tutorial-in.html
