Pattern is the Sorbetto from Collette patterns (free download). I added a strip of about 2.5 cm at the shoulder of this as I found the darts to be too high and the armholes too snug underneath my arms. The fabric is quite sheer so the front is two layers, the lining of which I cut a little longer. The pleat is slightly narrower than in the pattern and only stitched to part way down the front. I also top-stiched the pleat flat. The hem was finished with a tiny zig-zag then folded up once and stitched about 3mm in. The fabric frays alot so I hope that’s enough. I did french seams on the sides and shoulders. Despite mods the top is still a little snug across the bust but I think this is my favourite and most perfectly finished garment I have sewn. The colour is so bright and cheerful it makes me happy just looking at it.
