Description

I made this one immediately after the ’Tango’ed’ one and it is another Lekala pattern – http://www.lekala.co/catalog/dresses/4342#model.

I chose yellow as the pattern picture was in yellow and looked good. Not really all that keen on my yellow though now I have made it up. It’s ok, but not sure if if it looks a bit like a nurse’s outfit? It somehow looks a bit TOO formal and not as fun looking as the orange and yellow dress I did. It may grow on my though.

Maybe it would look better in red or green?

I was forced to make my own fabric covered buttons as I did not have any matching ones of the right size. They look fine from a distance but a bit ‘homemade’ if you see the back of them!

I love this! I don’t think it looks formal at all, to me it looks fun and retro. The color is perfect.

I really like it. If you feel nursey just add a red lippy or a red bag, and that will sort it.

Thanks! The button design was the thing that mainly attracted me to this dress – it is quite unusual!
